Gov. Haley Removes Two Members of Richland Rec. Commission
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – ABC Columbia has confirmed reports that Governor Nikki Haley removed the chair and vice-chair of the Richland County Recreation Commission.
Effective immediately, Nikki Haley has removed Marie Green and Barbara Mickens from their positions.
Since March, the commsion had been under scrunity for its handling of several personnel issues.
The former executive director James Brown, III retired from the commission in October amid several civil lawsuits filed against him and other former members of the board.
