Volunteers and Participants Benefit From Salvation Army’s Angel Tree

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Throughout this holiday season, ABC Columbia has encouraged you to become a sponsor of the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree.

This week, volunteers from all over South Carolina are lending a hand to make sure every child has a Merry Christmas.

The Angel Tree is projected to provide gifts for over 3,100 kids this year. Families on the receiving end of the project say they are grateful for this initiative.

Volunteers will continue to give out these gifts throughout the remainder of the week but items are still needed for girls ages 11 and 12.
