Harlon Hill Trophy winner announced Friday at 2:00
FLORENCE, Ala. – The 2016 winner of the Harlon Hill Trophy, given to the Division II Football Player of the Year, will be announced live online at 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon.
Quarterback Raleigh Yeldell is one of nine finalists nationally for the award after a season that has already seen him win Offensive Player of the Year honors and first team all-conference selections in both the South Atlantic Conference and Eastern College Athletic Conference. The record-setting signal-caller was one of two players to advance from Super Region 2 along with North Alabama quarterback Jacob Tucker.
The winner of Division II’s Player of the Year trophy will be flown to Florence, Alabama for a luncheon honoring his accomplishments on Friday, Jan. 6.
