Pork Rinds Recalled

Spartanburg, S.C (WOLO) — If you’re in the mood for a late night snack you may want to double check your pantry first.

A spokesperson for the USDA says pork rinds and snacks LLC. of Spartanburg is recalling more than 7 thousand pounds of the treat sold under the Wallace’s and Country Time label. Officials say they’re recalling the item due to a possible salmonella contamination.

So far, no one has reported getting sick from the pork rinds. If you happen to have this item in your home, it’s best to play it safe and throw it out.
