Special Election Set for January 3rd in Columbia

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Voters will head to the polls in the City of Columbia’s District Four Special Election, January 3rd.

The Special Election is being held to fill the seat left vacant by Leona Plaugh. Plaugh died in September after a lengthy battle with cancer.

The candidates are former councilman Daniel Rickenman and Business woman Jessica Lathren.

The election is Tuesday, January 3rd.
