COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– One of the biggest parties in the Southeast will kick off in Downtown Columbia Saturday.

The Famously Hot New Year’s Eve event is set, bringing in headliners for a concert and party in Columbia.

If you and your family plan to bring in the New Year at the event, law enforcement suggest that you get a clear bag to put your items in. Officials say they will be checking bags at the entrances.

There’s a big line up for Famously Hot New Year.

The headliners Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue (!), with direct support from Sister Hazel, folk/Southern rock band, and Capital City Playboys, local Rockabilly party band with rock and roll, garage rock and punk influences.
