(2) Clemson Learning How to “Be” in the National Championship Moment
CLEMSON, S.C. (WOLO) — Last season’s loss to Alabama is barely on the mind of Clemson coach Dabo Swinney.
At least, that’s what he says.
The memory of the Tigers’ 45-40 loss to the Crimson Tide is foggy at best to Dabo, seeking his first National Championship with Clemson. He doesn’t want to remember, since that’s no longer important.
On Monday night, the second-ranked Tigers have the opportunity to do something they haven’t done in 34 seasons: win a national title. For Dabo and his Tigers to be standing on the podium, hoisting a trophy at the end of a bout Monday, Clemson has to rise to the championship moment.
