SC DOT Preps Roads for Possible Winter Weather

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–Snow or not, SC DOT crews are working hard to make sure our roads will be safe.

ABC Columbia stopped by the DOT complex along shop road Thursday, where crews were prepping the piles of salt and the trucks.

DOT workers are also moving to new winter weather shifts to cover the roads.

On Thursday SC DOT crews pre-treated 1-77 in Chester, Fairfield and York counties.
