There would be no hangover, hanging heads, or hang up halting the Gamecocks Tuesday night coming off their first conference loss at Lexington Saturday.

No. 23 Carolina came home and gave Auburn more than they could handle, coasting past the Tigers 98-69. USC shot 15-26 (57.7%) from three as Dwayne Notice tied a career-high 27 points and Sindarius Thornwell added 22. The victory keeps Frank Martin’s program right near the top of the SEC and tied in the loss column with Kentucky, who fell for the first time in league play at Tennessee 82-80 just a few hours later.
