Bus Catches Fire on I-277, One Injury Reported

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Fire crews responded to Interstate 277 this afternoon after a COMET bus caught fire near Fontaine Road.
According to fire officials, one person was injured.
Just before 3 p.m., Columbia Fire Department tweeted that all southbound lanes of I-277 were closed. One lane has since reopened.
