Jones Honored as Cardinal Newman Tops Heathwood Hall

Cardinal Newman’s Christiaan Jones was honored Friday night in front of family, friends, teammates, and classmates as just the 13th Cardinal to ever eclipse the 1000 point mark in program history.

The Stetson University signee reached the milestone back on January 17 against Augusta Christian, and helped lead his program past SCISA 3A Region I rival Heathwood Hall by scoring 16 to beat the Highlanders 65-43.
