Suspect Demands Pills in Pharmacy Armed Robbery

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Authorities are looking for a man who demanded prescription pills from a pharmacy employee at a Richland County Rite Aid last week.

Deputies say at 1 p.m. on January 24 at the Rite Aid, located in the 8900 block of  Two Notch, the suspect presented a note stating that he had a gun and demanded oxycodone pills.

The suspect was captured on surveillance video wearing a surgical mask and black gloves; he took an unknown amount of oxycodone pills.
