Before Monday night’s 76-74 loss to Tennessee, the last time Carolina had been defeated by an SEC opponent at home was February 10, 2013. After falling to the Lady Vols amid foul trouble and unfamiliar lineups, the Gamecocks winning streak at Colonial Life Arena will now need to start over.

Despite the outcome, No. 4 USC still sits in first place in the league, a half-game better than No. 5 Mississippi St., who they beat on the same exact floor in Columbia just a week prior.

As they prep to play out the rest of their conference schedule, Dawn Staley and her program plan to use the same traits that have led them to the top to keep them there. Click the video above from ABC Columbia Sports to hear from coach and A’ja Wilson as the garnet and black head on the road for a pair of games at Kentucky and Arkansas next.
