Unlicensed Suspect Never Completed Home Repairs, Deputies Say

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – A 47-year-old man is accused of scamming a victim out of thousands of dollars for home remodeling  repairs and working without a license.

Gene Arthur Wymer is wanted for unlawful practice of a regulated profession after authorities say he collected $10,200 between June 2016 and August 2016 to perform remodeling work on the victim’s home located on Eastbourne Court.

Wymer reportedly did very little work and never completed the job and was performing work without a valid license through the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation.
