Victim Says He Was Shot During Craigslist Deal in Blythewood
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)- Richland County Sheriff Deputies are investigating a shooting after the victims said he was shot during a Craigslist purchase Saturday night.
Deputies said just before midnight they responded to Providence Northeast hospital, which is where the victim was transported for a gunshot wound to the lower body.
The victim told deputies that he was on Grover Wilson Road in Blythewood, SC to purchase an item from Craigslist when the suspect attempted to rob him for his cash. The victim said the suspect shot him in the lower body and fled on foot from the area.
Authorities said the victim refuses to corporate, however deputies are continuing to investigate.
