COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The wait is over. Opening Day is Friday, as the fifth-ranked Gamecocks host UNCG to begin the 125th edition of Carolina baseball.
USC pitcher Wil Crowe is back on the mound for Carolina after Tommy John’s surgery forced him to sit out the 2016 season.
Crowe is listed as USC’s Saturday starter, and after a year of not serving in the lineup, Head Gamecock Chad Holbrook can’t wait to see the right’s stuff.
