Columbia, SC. (WOLO) — If you are looking for some things to do to kick off the weekend, Good Morning Columbia has you covered in your Friday Morning Menu.

The World Beer Festival is headed to town allowing patrons 21 and up to sample more than 250 beers from 75 different breweries.

There are two different sessions to choose from. One begins at noon and will run until 4pm, the second event will take place from 6pm until 10 in the evening Saturday at the State Fairgrounds. The cost is 55 dollars at the door.

If that’s not quite your scene, you can head over to Greenview Park for the Black History Extravaganza. The event being hosted by Columbia Parks and Rec is from 10 in the morning until 2pm Monday February 20th. Admission is free.

Keep in mind if you plan on enjoy lunch tickets will cost you 5 dollars.
