CPD Seeking Two Men for Questioning in Deadly Shooting
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)- The Columbia Police Department is working on questioning two males in connection to a deadly apartment shooting Friday night.
Police said they want to talk with DaQuan McCoy,21, in connection with Friday nights shooting at the Colony Apartments.
It’s believed that McCoy has information regarding the case, according to officials.
A 30-year-old man was shot multiple times in the 1500 block of Bailey Street around 6:30 p.m., Police said.
Richland County Coroner Gary Watts said the victim, James Dexter Grant,30, of Rembert died Saturday morning from complications of multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.
Watts said Grant was taken by Richland County EMS to Palmetto Health Richland Memorial Hospital where he died.
Investigators are working to determine if the crime was captured on surveillance video.
Investigators are also working to identify a second male in connection with the case.
