Richland Searching for Shooting Suspect

Richland County, SC. (WOLO) — The Richland County Sheriff’s office continues investigating a shooting they say happened around 8PM Monday night.

According to Deputies, the victim was sitting inside his car in the 13 hundred block of Cactus Avenue when the driver of a passing car fired shots at him. Officials say the victim was struck in the forearm, but suffered what deputies say appear to be non life threatening injuries.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he’s expected to be treated and released.
