Frank Martin shared an interesting tidbit with the media after Tuesday night’s win over Mississippi State: Sindarius Thornwell, USC’s leading scorer, almost didn’t play because of the flu. Sin spent the entire day in bed Monday, but fortunately, his fever broke Tuesday morning, just hours before the Gamecocks’ tip with MSU.
