Wednesday March 1st, beginning at 2 in the afternoon at the Nickelodeon Theatre on Main street you can find out who will be taking part in the popular Indie Grits festival with the release of their 2017 line-up. This year’s theme is visiones, a way to explore the Latin population influence by southern culture through film and arts.
You can also get a little crafty at the State Fairgrounds from Friday through Sunday and check out craftsmen coming to the capital city from 25 different states. It’s all part of the Craftsmen’s spring classic hosting some 25 from across the state artisans from 25 different states. Admission is just 8 dollars to adults and one buck for your little ones.The events at the Statehouse
And Finally, the art just keeps coming. The State Museum is holding the event from 3 PM until 6pm Friday March 3rd you can a special special keepsake made by one of the most popular silhouette artist. Organizers say you need to hurry, space is limited.
