Arrest Made in 2016 Shooting Death of Sumter County Teen

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – A suspect has been arrested in the September 2016 shooting death of a Sumter County teen.
Asaad Jamal McNeil, was arrested around 6 p.m. Wednesday by Clarendon County deputies.
He’s accused of shooting Jaquell Dinkins in the back at a home on the 200 block block of Apollo Street in Wedgefield on September 14.
Sumter deputies say McNeil has two oustanding bench warrants for contempt, murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
