Women’s Rights Group Honors SC Trailblazers

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – A new organization that advocates for South Carolina’s women and girls will recognize nine influential female leaders in our state Wednesday, coinciding with International Women’s Day.

The luncheon, held at the Seibels House and Garden in downtown Columbia, will honor nine women:

  • Vickie Eslinger
  • Dr. Bambi Gaddist
  • Marjorie Hammock
  • Cynthia Hardy
  • Rachel Hodges
  • Moryah Jackson
  • Minor Shaw
  • The Honorable Molly Spearman
  • The Honorable Inez Tenenbaum 

WREN, the Women’s Rights and Empowerment Network, is a new organization whose mission is to build a movement to advance the health, economic well-being, and rights of South Carolina’s women, girls, and their families.
