UPDATE: ‘Suspicious Death’ Ruled Homicide

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – A suspicious death investigation has know been ruled a homicide after a man was found dead in a hotel room Friday.
According to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, the man was found dead at the Country Inn and Suites located on Piney Grove Road.
Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher said Dontre’yal Weatherbee, 23, died as a result of multiple gun shot wounds.
The shooting occurred just before 5 a.m., Fisher said.
An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday.
