COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Mix and mingle with Midlands artists during this weekend’s self-guided, free Columbia Open Studios tour.

The annual, weekend-long event takes families and friends along a trail of 64 artists’ studios through Richland and Lexington Counties.

701 Center for Contemporary Art has produced the studio tour since 2011.

Studios will be open Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, from noon to 6 p.m. Use this map to help you plan your route.

Good Morning Columbia’s Grace Joyal sat down with longtime participant, Clark Ellefson, principal designer and owner of Lewis+Clark on Huger Street, to discuss why residents should hit the studio trail this weekend.
