GLENDALE, Ariz. (WOLO) — Duane Notice, Justin McKie, and Sindarius Thornwell have played their final game wearing “Carolina” across their jersey.

The three Gamecocks seniors committed to come to Columbia as Frank Martin was in his first season with USC. They now leave with their names all across the program’s history books, leading the garnet and black to their first Final Four ever.

Beyond ending a 44 year wait for just a single win in March Madness, the upperclassmen helped define their coach’s culture and mold their teammates into the new standard being set by Frank’s team. While Gonzaga ended their ride on Saturday 77-73, the Gamecocks believe their growth spurred by the seniors is just getting started.

Sports Director Mike Gillespie caught up with Carolina postgame in Arizona.
