Researchers: 2 Major Hurricanes Predicted

(WOLO)– Researchers at Colorado State University expect this year to be a relatively calm Hurricane Season.

Researchers project 11 named storms will develop during the season.

Four storms are expected to become Hurricanes say researchers, two of those could reach major hurricane strength with sustained winds of 111-miles per hour.

The Atlantic Hurricane Season  runs June 1-November 30.
