Thousands Show up to USC’s Championship Parade

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)- Thousands of Gamecock fans filled downtown Columbia for the University of South Carolina Women’s Basketball team’s NCAA National Championship with a parade.

A sea of garnet and black poured into the streets to honor the ladies who brought back home a championship title.

Speakers at the event were Mayor Steve Benjamin, Congressman Jim Clyburn, athletui Director Ray Tanner, Commissioner Greg Sankey, USC President Harris Pastides, Star player A’ja Wilson, and head Coach Dawn Staley.
