Burned Body Found Near Paces Brook Apartments in Columbia

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WOLO)- Authorities say a body was found burning near Paces Brook apartments Saturday night.

Columbia Fire officials found the body when responding to a brush fire and notified the Richland County Sheriff’s department. Deputies arrived on scene just after 10p.m.

The Richland Coutny Sheriff’s department turned over the case to the Columbia Police Department because it is in their jurisdiction.
