Troopers Searching For Car in Fatal Hit-And-Run

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, SC (WOLO)- The South Carolina Highway Patrol is searching for a car involved in a fatal hit and run Sunday morning.

Troopers say a pedestrian was hit on Old Camden Road near Trade Mill Court around 2:20a.m.

According to officials, the driver of a black Dodge Charger was headed south on Camden road when they attempted to past another car and hit a pedestrian and fled the scene.

Troopers describe the Dodge as a 2006-2010 model with damage to the front or left front of the car and possible 20 inch chrome wheels. The car was last seen driven by a black male.
