City Water Interruption Expected

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — If you live in the City of Columbia listen up! Residents living near Broad River Road may have to give themselves a little more time if they need to use their water Thursday.

The Columbia Water Department says they are in the process of repairing a Water main along Broad River Road affecting people living along Ministry Drive and Woodrow Street.

Officials started work on the line at 8 Thursday morning and say anyone residing in that area may experience interruptions to their service well into Thursday night.

Once work has been completed a water boil advisory for this same area will be issued.
