Coroner Releases Cause of Death of Boating Victim
LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – The Lexington County Coroner has released the cause of death of one the victim’s who was killed in a boating incident on Lake Murray over the weekend.
Margaret Fisher said Christopher Shawn Lanier died as a result of blunt force trauma to the head.
Lanier, 28, was on of two victims of in the fatal incident Friday.
The incident remains under investigation by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources and other agencies.
