One of the biggest surprises from this past weekend’s NFL Draft, at least locally, came when former Clemson linebacker Ben Boulware, arguably the Tigers’ best defensive player from their National Championship team, went undrafted. Instead, Boulware settled for a free agent contract with the Carolina Panthers.

Boulware led Clemson in total tackles in 2016 (131), so obviously for the Panthers, they believe he’s a steal.
