COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – The twelfth annual Rosewood Crawfish festival will bring 10,000 pounds of crawfish, and more than 10,000 people to the Columbia neighborhood Saturday.

Dave Britt, the executive director the of the Rosewood Merchant’s Association, said the team has been preparing for half a year to make sure the festival runs smoothly.

Nineties band “Spin Doctors” will headline the more than 20 bands performing on four stages. Things kick-off at 11 a.m. and run until 8 p.m.

The crawfish comes fresh from Louisiana – if you’re not a fan, there are 20 other options for you to choose from.

Tickets are $10 in advance, and $15 at the gate.

Britt recommends parking at the state fairgrounds and taking a shuttle, running every 15 minutes, to Rosewood.
