Assault suspect turns himself in after incident at Five Points bar

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – The suspect accused of assaulting a man following an argument at a Harden Street bar turned himself into authorities Monday afternoon.
Jalen Dread, 20, is charged with simple assault after police say he punched the victim multiple times in the face on April 29 at the Five Points Saloon.
The business is located at 812 Harden Street.
Police say the victim refused medical treatment at the scene.
Investigators do not expect to charge anyone else in connection with the case.
