Suspect sought after shooting at party
NEWBERRY COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – A suspect is being sought by the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office following a shooting at a home on Adelaide Street over the weekend.
On Saturday, May 6 at about 8 p.m., deputies say several people were outside the home grilling, when a verbal altercation between two men escalated.
The suspect shot the victim, striking him four times, deputies say.
The victim is in stable condition at this time; the investigation into the shooting continues.
