Kershaw Sheriff: Suspect Calls 911 After Shooting, Killing Man

KERSHAW COUNTY, SC (WOLO)- One man is in custody after fatally shooting another man in Elgin.

Kershaw County Sheriff, Jim Matthews says deputies responded to a 911 call from the suspect at 3:21pm on Tuesday.

The victim was shot two times with a 3.8 cal. pistol at a home on Elm Wood Boulevard in Elgin, according to Matthews. Authorities say the victim has died.

Deputies are working on getting a search warrant for the home, and are interviewing the suspect.
