RCSD Host Community Pizza Party

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WOLO)-Midlands residents got a chance to meet and greet some of their favorite deputies from Live PD on Saturday.

Hundreds of residents wrap around the Richland County Sheriff’s Department for a free community pizza party.

The event gave residents a chance to connect with the Richland County Sheriff and Deputies featured on the hit A&E Show, Live PD.

Deputies said seeing the community’s support has been a surreal experience.

“I never thought it would be this big,” Deputy Kevin Lawrence said. “Again it’s, satisfying and it’s gratifying to see how many people support us on a daily basis. I’m overwhelmed and I thank this community for the support.”

In addition to the free food, attendees got posters signed.
