Federal Housing Assistance From 2015 Flood

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — If you were impacted by the 2015 flood here in South Carolina, you are still eligible for federal assistance.

9 Monday morning registration will begin for those wishing to get help with home repairs and mobile home replacement for the intake period from 9a until 5pm. Anyone in line today before 5pm will get to register for help.

Registration forms will be accepted through June 15th or until the first 6 hundred people have applied in person, online or by mail.

Below are a few of the locations around town where you can go to find the help that you’ve been waiting for.

·         Richland County Administration Building
2020 Hampton St., Columbia

·         Gadsden Park Community Center
1668 S. Goodwin Circle, Gadsden

.    Mailed forms must be postmarked May 15. If forms are postmarked May 14, they cannot be accepted. If forms are postmarked May 16, they may not be accepted, depending on whether the 600 limit was met on May 15.
