Grantham Withdraws from NBA Draft, Returning to Clemson

The Martinsburg, WV native didn’t sign with an agent, allowing him to come back and play again for the Tigers. He was not invited to the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago earlier this month, but had workouts with the New Orleans Pelicans, Boston Celtics, and Los Angeles Clippers. Grantham started 32 games for Brad Brownell’s squad in 2016-17, averaging 7.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.
The deadline to withdraw from the Draft is Wednesday, May 24.
Grantham posted the following to Instagram late Tuesday afternoon: “Excited to announce I’m withdrawing from the NBADraft and coming back for my senior year. I know last year was a disappointment as far as expectations for the team and also individual performances but I think with the group we have coming back and new additions were just as talented as we were. Want to thank the seniors again @avry_holmes @jaronbgame@sidythebesst for always being there for team and keeping us together. Much respect for you guys! Always family”
