Columbia firefighters resuscitate dog after house fire
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – A dog survived a house fire Wednesday morning after firefighters performed CPR and provided oxygen through a mask for pets, according to Columbia fire officials.
According to a tweet from the department the fire occurred at a home on the 8000 block of Songbird Drive.
Officials say heavy fire and smoke was seen as responders arrived.
