Boots and Badges Blood Drive

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO) — Some area Police and Firefighters are out for blood, literally. It’s time for the annual Boots and Badges Blood drive. A friendly competition held between Columbia Police Department, The Richland County Sheriff’s Department and the Columbia Fire Department.

In conjunction with the Red Cross each team of first responders battle for bragging rights, to see who can get more people to roll up their sleeves to make life saving blood donations.

Want to root for your favorite team and save a life? You can head to the event being held Friday May 26th until 3pm at one of two locations,  Columbia Place Mall or the Charles Drew Wellness Center.
