Deputy Laid to Rest Wednesday

Richland County (WOLO) — The Richland County Sheriff’s Department continues to mourn the loss of one of their own as they prepare to say bid a final farewell to one of their own.

Wednesday afternoon, a funeral service will be held to remember the life of Senior Deputy Derek Fish.

Sheriff Leon Lott says Fish took his own life while inside his patrol car, using his department issued firearm.

All members of the public are invited to attend services that will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church located on Eastman Street beginning at 4pm this evening .
