COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – Governor Henry McMaster says he is disappointed in the decision to shut down construction on the V.C. Summer.

ABC Columbia talked to the Governor Wednesday (8/2) about the nuclear reactor issue and the loss of jobs after the project was stopped.

McMaster says he’s calling for a thorough review and public hearings.

He says hopefully some of the highly skilled workers can find jobs at the Savannah River Site.
