Bruce Ellington cut by the 49ers
SAN FRANCISCO (WOLO) — Former Gamecock wide receiver Bruce Ellington was cut by the San Francisco 49ers, the team announced Thursday.

Ellington was drafted by San Francisco in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft, but missed the entire 2016 season with a hamstring tear. He caught 19 passes in two seasons played with the 49ers.
