Help Planned for Small Businesses Affected by VC Summer Layoffs

CHAPIN, S.C. (WOLO) – The South Carolina Small Business Development Center will host a series of upcoming programs, for small businesses affected by the layoffs at VC Summer Nuclear Plant in Jenkinsville.

The tools are meant to help small business owners assess their current financial, operational and mental preparedness for the economic challenges that will come in the recovery period. One of those tools is a special worksheet designed specifically for this transition.

A training session on the tools will be held at Chapin Town Hall in the community room on Thursday, August 24 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. SBDC business consultants will do one-on-one consultations by appointment. To register, click here.

To get a copy of the tools before the training session, contact Earl Gregorich at earlg@sc.edu or call 803-777-1020.
