Jets sign former Gamecock Bruce Ellington
THE MEADOWLANDS, NJ (WOLO) — Former Gamecock wide receiver Bruce Ellington was signed by the New York Jets Friday afternoon, just one day after being cut by the San Francisco 49ers.

Ellington missed the entire 2016 season with a hamstring tear and has battled injuries in two of his first three seasons in the league.
The Carolina product was a fourth-round draft pick out of South Carolina and 2014, after leading the Gamecocks with eight touchdowns in his final season.
