Stuff-a-Bus Campaign Aims to Provide Weekend Nutirition

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – You have a chance to make sure kids in one Midlands school district have healthy food seven days a week.

All this weekend (8/5-8/6) Lexington-Richland District Five is holding two “Stuff-a-Bus” campaigns at the Walmart locations on Harbison Boulevard and in Ballentine.

The donations will be used in the district’s Snack Pack program. Every Friday during the school year, more than 700 students receive a snack pack to ensure they will have essential nutrition over the weekend.

If you would like to donate the buses will be out there through Sunday.
