Armed Robbery Suspects Caught on Camera

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Deputies are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects in an armed robbery and assault that happened at Whiskey Tavern in June.

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department said the culprits, seen in the surveillance video above provided by RCSD, entered the business at 200 Zimalcrest Dr. on June 24, presented a handgun and demanded money from a safe. Deputies said the suspects hit the employee in the face with the gun and took off with an unknown amount of money. The victim is okay – he or she sustained minor cuts and bruises.
