LATROBE, PA (WOLO) — Steelers General Manager Kevin Colbert said Wednesday former Clemson and current Pittsburgh wide receiver Martavis Bryant has been “permitted to participate in all preseason activities, including practices and games.”
Bryant missed the entire 2016 season after violating the league’s substance abuse policy, but was conditionally reinstated back in April.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Bryant has to continue setting up counseling sessions and must maintain those visits to remain in the league.
The wide receiver had been attending all team meetings with the Steelers and looks to continue his role as the number 2 receiver in Pittsburgh’s offense.
